Skarb Państwa zapewnia zasiłek pogrzebowy w wysokości 7000 zł, który pomaga w pokryciu kosztów uroczystości pogrzebowej..
Jeżeli wypłata zasiłku następuje we własnym zakresie, potrzebne są dokumenty:
– wniosek o wypłatę zasiłku pogrzebowego,
– wyciąg z aktu zgonu,
– oryginały rachunków poniesionych kosztów pogrzebu (jeżeli oryginały zostały złożone w banku, wymagane są kopie potwierdzone przez bank).
W przypadku pogrzebu organizowanego na koszt państwa, organizacji politycznej lub społecznej, konieczne jest zaświadczenie odpowiedniego organu stwierdzające pokrycie kosztów oraz rachunki wydatków poniesionych przez osobę ubiegającą się o zasiłek.
